I’m a city girl these days, but I was born and raised in the boonies of New Hampshire. And when I say boonies I mean the road outside my house was called Highway Contract 71 until I was 14, and I learned to drive a car on logging roads. I have a soft spot for the wilderness, and love incorporating flora and fauna into my city life. This shadylace parasol makes me dream of two things 1) actually having outdoor space in the city and 2) propping the umbrella up over a wrought iron table and garden chairs in said space.
Reading a good book under the patchy shade of an oak on a summer afternoon is idyllic. Even if the oak is fake. Plus the little bird perching atop the parasol means double wilderness points.
